Making mental health interventions accessible - one training at a time. 🧠
We recently finished the Program Implementers Training for organizations that are part of our sub-granting program! These organizations will be implementing the guided self-help toolkit program for adolescents and young people in their communities with technical and funding support from Phlourish. This approach aligns with our goal of scaling the program across diverse contexts. It is grounded in the belief that impact is amplified when organizations—who have a deeper understanding of their communities and stakeholders—take the lead in implementation. We are very excited to see how this goes because sub-granting seems like a promising model in scaling many more mental health interventions in a way that makes them more responsive, effective, and empowering.

We prioritized organizations from low-resource settings and with direct interactions with adolescents. For this round, we received over 30 applications and selected 16 organizations to participate in the implementers training. The training covered discussions and activities on the following topics in four sessions:
